I first moved to Malibu in 1964, at the age of 2.  My parents, who were active Real Estate Brokers in the San Fernando Valley, had a deep love for Malibu, renting summer homes on the beach throughout the 1950’s.  In fact my dad was closing escrow on the purchase of their first beach house the day I was born.  I grew up in the business, with real estate conversations and more than a few transactions occurring right at our dining room table.  Some of my family’s closest friends were originally clients of my folks.   After graduating from Pepperdine (B.A. Economics ’87), I worked in Ecuador and Chile in the field of education.  I later started an import-wholesale jewelry business that I have owned and operated since 1990, that I still maintain on a seasonal basis.
